Our Financial Crime platform protects customers and the bank from fraud, money laundering and other financial crimes using advanced data, analytics, AI and automation. About The Role Lead Risk Technology Architect with a Non‑Financial Risk background. Design, build and maintain high‑performance AML & fraud detection systems, entity resolution, and compliance analytics. Architect a unified, non‑siloed platform across Fraud and Financial Crime for all Tyme Group entities. Key Responsibilities Demonstrated experience in multiple forms of data ingestion, event‑based streaming, synchronous real‑time ingestion approaches. Architect SLM (localized LLM) strategy. Build low‑cost, high‑performance multi‑agent AI architecture with ontology via knowledge graphs. Design the ODS LDM and the Star/Snowflake LDM to support knowledge storing, sharing, audit and re‑use for Agentic AI. Apply entity resolution techniques in‑place without further data movement. Advocate for minimizing large‑scale data movement; process data in‑place. Champion the SHIFT LEFT paradigm and Data Foundation principles. Utilize tooling for SHIFT LEFT, e.g., virtual Graph Database atop a solid Data Foundation. Ensure real‑time scaling and performance for fast‑track processing, near‑real time and slow‑track batch needs, selecting appropriate compute, GPU, storage and notebook technologies (Scala, PySpark, Python, SQL). Design and deploy LLMOps & MLOps; establish comprehensive Data & AI monitoring strategy. Promote Governance, Lineage, Auditability, Data as a Product via Unity Catalog. Design cost‑effective, low‑IT‑support, adaptable systems. Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Analysts, Compliance, Operations and Product teams. Integrate with external systems (sanctions, ID&V, biometrics, authentication) to enrich risk and identity data for profiling layers. Requirements Must‑Have: Bachelor’s degree or above, ideally in Computer Science with specialization in Data Architecture/AI. 10–15 years of experience, preference in Financial Services, Fast‑moving E‑Commerce industries. Held the position of Lead Risk Architect with a sizable customer base and designed global/multi‑country systems. Hands‑on architecture/design/implementation of Financial Crime or Cyber Security detection systems using Databricks, Snowflake, GCP BigQuery/Table or Cloudera. Experience with structured and unstructured data in production. Secure coding practices – testing/QA in Spark, Python, PySpark, PostgreSQL, Databricks SQL. Comfortable with cloud platforms (AWS preferred, GCP also welcomed). Good communication skills in English; cross‑functional collaboration internationally. Proficiency in Text, Delta, Parquet, Iceberg/S3, JSON, CSV, XML data formats. Knowledge of Kafka/MQ/Spark structured real‑time streaming. Solid understanding of git‑based version control, DevOps, CI/CD. Experience with Atlassian stack. Knowledge of common web API frameworks and web services. Strong teamwork, relationship, client management skills; ability to influence peers and senior management. Willingness to embrace modern technology, best practice, and ways of work. Nice to Have: Databricks/Snowflake/GCP Data certifications at several levels in Data Engineering, Gen AI, Data Architecture. Experience with Agentic AI, MLFlow, Judge‑Based Evaluation Models. Experience building LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering mastery. Familiarity with Entity Resolution frameworks (Quantexa, Senzing, open‑source tools). Experience with data streaming frameworks (Kafka, Spark Streaming, MQ). Experience with Regulatory Model Validation against AI.
