About The Role The position of Principal Technical Officer will work, collaborate and engage with a large and varied number of stakeholders, to support the technical design, installation, test and implementation of the new ESS. In this role you will deliver quality outcomes for children, young people and families (Leader of Self) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values. Your contribution will include: Lead technical discussions through project established governance. Establish and validate non-production and production environments for Electronic Security Systems in scope, working with ICT Operations and suppliers. This includes supporting installation of compute and storage, firewalls and coordinating network changes. Provide technical oversight and advice for in-scope Electronic Security Systems including the Physical Security Information Management System (PSIM), Electronic Access Control System (EACS), Video Surveillance System (VSS), Intercom System (ICS), Mobile Duress Alarm System (MDAS) and integrated building management systems.
