We have an exciting opportunity within our dynamic and positive customer service team to fill one (1) permanent, full-time position. If you are a motivated and highly skilled individual with a passion for providing quality service in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you Permanent, full-time position (35 hours per week). Remuneration of $2,582.98 gross per fortnight with the opportunity to progress to $3,099.58 gross per fortnight + superannuation (12%). Please note : Rates of pay for all Council employees aged between 15-18 years of age are paid in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023, Clause 32. Junior and Trainee Employment. Your new role : Our focused customer service team members are the first point of contact for enquiries and provide valuable assistance for community members with a wide range of requests. Duties of this position will include but are not limited to : Providing advice to both internal and external customers; Undertaking call centre operations; Processing applications and requests; Providing feedback to customers on unresolved issues in a timely manner; and Cash handling responsibilities including receipting and reconciliation. What you will need to succeed : Substantial previous customer service and / or administrative experience relevant to the role; Excellent time management; Organisational, communication and interpersonal skills; and Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
