Position: Head of NPD (New Product Development) and QA Location: Melbourne, Victoria (Docklands) Company: CPF Australia Pty Ltd About Us: CPF Australia is a dynamic, Australian-based company dedicated to providing premium seafood, meat, and value-added products to the foodservice and retail industry. Role Overview: This will be a dual role, primarily responsible for development and implementation of market leading products in line with CP business metrics and expectations across multiple proteins and categories, both in the Retail and Foodservice space. You will work closely with our fast-paced team here in Australia as well as with our larger business in Southeast Asia and beyond. There will also be a smaller component of QA work to be done alongside the NPD role. This is a Permanent Full-Time role based in our new office in Docklands Victoria. Key Responsibilities: Lead new product development projects from concept through to launch for both retail and foodservice categories, ensuring on time delivery Co-ordinate customer product presentations Develop NPD concept samples working with internal or external partners Create and maintain product documentation, including NPD briefs, specifications, import requirements, packaging information and updating of retailer information systems Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure quality outcomes Work with current and new manufacturing suppliers for factory trials, ingredients and packaging requirements Ensure compliance with FSANZ, Food Safety, HACCP, GMP, and customer standards Drive improvement and innovation across the business, with an strong knowledge of key certifications such as Global GAP, ASC & SEDEX Good understanding of import regulations and retailer compliance programs Stay informed on food trends and identify innovative opportunities for growth Manage non-conformances and product holds Qualifications & Experience: A minimum of 5+ years' experience in a similar role within the food industry A degree in Food Science / Technology A strong creative flair and a passion for innovation A hands-on, energetic approach with excellent organisational and multitasking skills Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required Bilingual in Thai / English is a plus Why Join Us?
