What you'll be doing

This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of Australia's largest health system by joining the statewide workforce pool known as ‘CRU’, the Central Resource Unit (CRU)

We are looking for Registered Midwives to provide quality and contemporary woman centered, evidenced based midwifery care in a variety of hospital and facility settings, collaborating with individuals and multidisciplinary health care teams.

Where you'll be working

The CRU Registered Midwife workforce will be deployed to locations across NSW Health from anywhere between two and thirteen weeks to support short-term staffing needs. You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of health settings when on deployment. Selection Criteria

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife.
• Provide examples of your experience and ability to practice as a midwife in the areas of antenatal, labour, birth and postnatal care, lactation, and infant feeding care.
• Detail your ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Tell us about your recent clinical experience as a Registered Midwife. In your response include evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills
• Current drivers’ licence with capacity and willingness to travel to NSW Health business and service locations throughout NSW which will include overnight stays in regional / remote areas. These deployments will make up the majority of your time in the position.
