Our water group has secured multiple long term framework contracts and significant career defining major projects with key water authority clients across Australia and locally in South-East Queensland. This has created a great opportunity for experienced Civil Engineers to join our team in either our Brisbane or Gold Coast offices. About the role: We have a healthy workload focused on water supply and sewerage schemes with key water authorities in South-East Queensland and as such, we are seeking determined professionals to join our thriving team. You will join a dynamic and skilled team that works on water infrastructure projects, not only locally, but across the APAC region. As a Civil Engineer, you will provide professional engineering skills in the areas of water and sewerage infrastructure across both network and treatment assets along with the following: • Provide project technical leadership including Client liaison, Design Manager and Project Manager responsibilities and project team leadership including mentoring of graduates. • Perform civil engineering tasks as required which may include engineering design drawings, calculations, reports, design criteria, to support our water infrastructure projects. • Assist with developing and managing the project scope including cost estimates, budget, staffing and schedule. • Work collaboratively with our local clients and colleagues across SEQ, Australia and the wider Asia Pacific business. • Partner with a diverse client base from local government, industry and private development. About you: • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering – Civil or Environmental Engineering or equivalent. • Chartership/ RPEQ or working towards is highly regarded. • Relevant professional experience in engineering and consulting within the water industry. • Strong technical experience in potable water supply, gravity and pumped sewerage systems, and recycled water networks. • Experience in water and wastewater treatment plants for regional and urban water authorities (highly desirable but not essential). • Expertise with dealing with a range of clients and stakeholders including local authorities, government bodies and commercial companies.
