What You'll Do Help with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming) Provide respite care (giving our clients carers a break) Help clients stay active and connected in their community Follow care plans to meet each person's needs Work as a team to provide the best support possible Benefits Salary packaging – Get up to $15,900 tax‑free per year to increase your take‑home pay Retail discounts – Save money at 700+ stores Fitness Plus Extra pay on leave – 17.5% leave loading on annual leave Additional pay per km for client visits Career growth – Opportunities to move into Residential Care or Community Services Qualifications and Requirements Certificate in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services – at this moment in time, we can’t consider you if you don’t have one of these qualifications Have a caring nature – be genuinely passionate about helping people Have excellent communication skills – you’ll be able to chat, engage and interact with clients and your colleagues Have a valid Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable, fully insured car Have a Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to get one) Have a First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to get one) It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
