Responsibilities We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious corporate real estate lawyer to join our highly successful team dealing with the full spectrum of real estate transactions. Your work will span capital transactions, complex development projects of various asset classes including mixed‑use precincts, renewables and build‑to‑rent, real estate joint ventures, and complex AFL and leasing. This role is an opportunity to be mentored and trained by our most respected and accomplished Partners and their highly competent team. Our client base has grown significantly in recent times and we are seeking proactive people with strong experience to join us. You will work closely with highly experienced and well respected Partners Anthony Poynton, Carla Deluca, David Chin and their team. You will also have the opportunity to work with lawyers across our National Real Estate practice. The team is dedicated to the training and development of all team members, and will upskill you in the areas you may not yet have extensive experience in, or the areas you have a desire to learn. You will be part of a large and supportive team of high performing lawyers and paralegals, with additional support from the legal support team. Qualifications We welcome applications from real estate lawyers with 1‑2 years PQE with experience in a reputable real‑estate team and a passion for real‑estate law. We may also consider corporate/M&A candidates who have experience in corporate real‑estate transactions wishing to branch into real‑estate transactions and development projects. What you need A commercial approach to all matters and an understanding of the real‑estate industry; Excellent business acumen and a desire to strengthen and build client relationships; Drafting and organisational skills and a strong attention to detail; The ability to work in a highly collaborative fast‑paced environment; Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; Resilience and a commitment to excellence that matches our own.
