Disability Support Worker

We are currently looking for experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team to assist our participant located in Blaxland, NSW. Our participant is a male who suffered a Spinal Cord Injury and requires complex supports. Our participant requires support from Monday to Sunday This role is casual on-going and will involve a roster that includes the following shift times. Morning shifts: 7:00am - 3:00pm or 9:30am - 3:30pm Afternoon/Evening shifts: 1:30pm - 10:00pm or 3:30pm - 10:00pm Overnight shifts (active): 10:00pm - 7:00am Regular ongoing roster with potential for additional casual cover shifts Pay rates: Day Shift - $42.50 p/h Afternoon Shift - $46.75 p/h Night Shift - $47.60 p/h Saturday Shift - $59.50 p/h Sunday Shift - $76.50 p/h Key Responsibilities Bowel Management - digital stimulation and enema Ventilation management / Tracheostomy management (training given) Personal Care Consistend skin checks and skin integrity management Skills & Experiences Previous experience supporting individuals with Spinal Cord Injuries (preferred) Current First Aid & CPR National Police Clearance NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module and Supporting Effective Communication Module NDIS Worker Screening Check Working with Children Check Full Australian working rights Positive Attitudes and flexibility in shift times Please note: two current references are required If you meet the above criteria and are available for an immediate start, hit the "Apply" button now.
