We are looking for an experienced and energetic Industrial Spray Painter / Blaster to join our growing organisation. Specialising in engineering and CAD drafting, large capacity CNC Machining, on-site machining and heavy fabrication, Morgan Engineering is at the forefront of innovation and modern machining techniques. Privately-owned family company, Morgan Engineering, has almost five decades of experience providing engineering solutions – backed by a strong reputation for delivering quality results. Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient application of surface protective coatings to the highest standards. Qualifications and experience Sound mechanical aptitude in mobile plant and equipment A commitment to zero harm in the workplace and act in a safe manner at all times A "We Make It Happen" attitude that ensures our clients expectations are continuously met/exceeded High level of customer service and attention to detail Excellent communication skills both internally and externally Essential requirements of the role Experience as a spray painter in a medium to heavy industrial fabrication industry. Trade qualified or 2+ years' ongoing experience painting / blasting. Driver's licence and own reliable transport. Willingness to undergo and successfully pass Pre-Employment Drug and Alcohol screening. Knowledge of engineering, machining and fabrication. Exceptional safety standards. Time management and ability to prioritise competing demands. Ability to maintain high work standards especially paint finish. Ability to problem solve and show a high level of initiative. Respect for the team. Preferred requirements for the role Current mine site inductions. Working safely at heights. Confined small workplace emergencies (fire spotter). First aid and CPR training.
