Your responsibilities will include: : We are currently seeking a Level 1 Component Specialist to support general services, repairs, and overhauls of components to ensure that they are in good mechanical condition and safe for installation.Your responsibilities include: Conduct periodic inspections and general maintenance, repairs, modifications and replacement and assembly of parts. Consult manufacturers' manuals for specifications and determine feasibility of repair or replacement. Perform assigned component maintenance tasks in accordance with all applicable regulatory authority requirements (DASA, DCMA), Approved Maintenance Data, and company standards and requirements. Maintenance tasks may include, but are not limited to, scheduled and unscheduled inspections, servicing, repairs, maintenance, removal/ installations, modifications and STIs on applicable aircraft systems, components, role equipment or ground support equipment. Ensure all documentation relating to work performed are signed and, where company approved, certified in a timely manner as required by company procedure. Detect and identify defects and assist in drafting appropriate report.
