We are seeking to establish a pool of Mathematics Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full‑time and part‑time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period. Bridgetown High School (HS) is located 270 km south of Perth on the Blackwood River in the Southwest region of Western Australia and proudly meets the needs of local students in Years 7 to 10. The Role Suitable applicants would ideally possess a sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum; be able to deliver content in an engaging manner; have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be a highly effective team member. Suitable applicants would teach Mathematics to students from Year 7 to 10 with a range of ability levels. They will ideally have the capacity to provide a learning environment that is caring, motivational, and differentiated to cater for a variety of learning needs. Mobility appointments for permanent metropolitan and south west teachers Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school* may elect to undertake this role as a 3‑year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their substantive position. At the cessation of the 3‑year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role, or transfer permanently into this school.
