About The Role As Head of Department - Student Engagement, you will join a team of experienced educators and work with highly capable young people within an engaged school community that fosters strong connections between home and school. The successful applicant will demonstrate initiative and play a leading role in supporting students’ engagement with school so that every young person has the opportunity to achieve their personal best. This position will also lead pastoral programs and co‑curricular experiences together with strategic portfolios aligned to the assigned year level and expertise. As Head Of Department - Student Engagement, you Will Have Responsibility For Leading The Following Activities And Delivery Of The Following Key Tasks Provide leadership and guidance for the implementation of innovative measures aimed at improving student learning outcomes and attendance in schools where a significant percentage of students may have a disadvantaged background, ensuring quality learning outcomes for all students. Where requested, prepare all data returns for senior management. Monitor students’ individual performance and behaviour and develop and implement intervention strategies where necessary.
