Start Date : ASAP Pay Rate : $33 - $38/hr + night shift irrigation bonus Benefits : Family Friendly Accommodation + Work Vehicle + Generous Remuneration + Respected Employers Position Type : Full Time Job Description Our client, a large scale irrigation farm growing cotton, legumes and cereal in the Emerald area is offering an excellent opportunity for 2 experienced Farm Operators. They pride themselves in being leaders in the industry growing top quality, high yielding crops in a safe, efficient environment and understand that their biggest asset are the people working for them -so you know you are going to be treated with respect and appreciation as reflected in the employment package they are offering. They are flexible in their search and are happy to employ 2 separate families, singles or a working couple/family. Several Accommodation options are available to suit your needs and includes a work vehicle for use on farm. You will need to be experienced with various farm machinery and know your way around the operation and maintenance of an irrigation system. They can also offer night shift irrigation operations with a suitable increase in their normal wage rate. In your role you will be directly reporting to the Farm Operations Manager. What we are looking for: Proven experience in similar roles is required Setup, operate and maintain all Machinery and Equipment Operate and maintain all aspects of the irrigation system as directed. Other abilities you can bring to the team will be looked upon favourably - not limited to workshop, fabrication or mechanical.
