With a strong footprint in manufacturing and supply chain operations, this organisation is searching for a commercially-savvy Cost Accountant to deliver best-in-class costings, margin analysis, and strategic insights that shape the future of their APAC operations. What You'll Be Doing Own the cost accounting process across the APAC region, including product costings, budgeting, and inventory valuation. Analyse product, raw material, and overhead costs to ensure accuracy in standard costing. Deliver timely and accurate new product development (NPD/EPD) costings. Conduct weekly variance analysis and identify operational improvement opportunities. Partner cross-functionally with supply chain, production, procurement, and commercial teams. Lead margin analysis by product line, providing actionable recommendations to drive profitability. Maintain and optimise ERP standard cost models (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics BC). Support month-end and year-end close processes with cost-related reporting and insights. Drive cost control initiatives and identify opportunities to improve financial performance across the supply chain. What You'll Bring A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (CPA/CMA or MBA preferred). 3–5+ years’ experience in cost accounting within an FMCG, food, or manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory systems, and ERP platforms. Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling capabilities. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities. A solutions-focused approach and passion for continuous improvement.
