Job details $35 P / H base + penalties Monday to Friday, full time hours (7 : 00am 5 : 00pm) Jandakot Location Short Description WorkPac is currently seeking a reliable Trade Assistant / Workshop Labourer to join our clients drilling services team based in Fremantle. This is an ongoing opportunity ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, supporting trades, and working in a busy workshop environment. About Our Client Our client is a leading provider of drilling tools and equipment, supplying major resources and industrial operations across Western Australia. Known for their commitment to safety, quality, and technical excellence, they offer a stable working environment with opportunities for skill development and ongoing employment. What You Will Be Doing Assisting tradespeople with assembly, installation, servicing, and repairs Cleaning, dismantling, inspecting, and reassembling drilling tool components Preparing drill pieces to company and client specifications ready for dispatch Supporting workshop operations including tool use, equipment cleaning, and setup Assisting with quality checks, basic testing, and visual inspections of components Operating forklifts, lifting equipment, and hand / power tools (training provided if required) Supporting warehouse functions such as receiving, dispatch, and stock organisation Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant work area Following all safety procedures, site rules, and company policies General labouring duties as required to support operations What You Will Need Current Drivers Licence (mandatory) Forklift Licence preferred Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol screen Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Physically fit and able to work in a workshop environment Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills Whats in it for You?
