Our client, a leading logistics provider dedicated to delivering exceptional service and efficiency, thrives on ensuring that packages and freight reach their destinations safely and on time. We are looking for dedicated Freight Handlers / Parcel Sorters to join our dynamic team based in Granville. Job Description As a Freight Handler / Parcel Sorter, you will play a crucial role in the movement of goods within our warehouse. You will be responsible for sorting, handling, and processing parcels and freight with precision and care. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment. Position Brief Monday–Saturday working roster (must be able to work weekends and required overtime) Pay rate $40.15 per hour + penalties and allowances Ongoing work for successful applicants Commence ASAP Shift start time predominantly 5am–8am (flexibility required) Flexibility to start later and finish later due to varying volume and requirements Responsibilities Efficiently sort and handle parcels and freight according to established procedures. Ensure accurate labelling and routing of packages. Assist with loading and unloading of goods from delivery trucks and containers. Maintain accurate records of inventory and assist with stock checks as needed. Load conveyor system with packages. Requirements Previous experience in warehouse operations, particularly in freight sorting highly advantageous. Current police check highly desirable (we can assist if you do not have one). Must be able to provide a police check no older than 6 months or willing to apply for one via our system. Current forklift licence desirable but not essential. Ability to work collaboratively with other team members in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to undertake repetitive manual and physical tasks. Ability to work a flexible roster with start times mentioned. Ability to work weekends and overtime as required. Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail in sorting and handling packages.
