Our client, a well‑established financial services organisation based in Melbourne’s north, is seeking an experienced Project Risk Manager for a 6-month fixed‑term contract to lead the refresh and renewal of their enterprise risk framework following a comprehensive strategic review earlier this year. Reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer , this hands‑on role will suit a self‑starter with strong risk framework expertise and the ability to work autonomously while engaging with senior stakeholders including the Chair of Risk, directors, and executive leadership. Key Responsibilities Review and update the existing risk framework to ensure it’s practical, effective, and fit for purpose Oversee policy rewrites, role and responsibility definitions, and risk control self‑assessment processes Streamline the flow of information between business units, executive management, and the Board Provide high‑level risk advice and input into reporting for the Board and Risk Committee Liaise closely with the CRO, CEO, Compliance Manager and broader business to implement an aligned and forward‑looking risk culture About You 4+ years’+ experience in risk management within the financial services industry Proven ability to simplify and operationalise risk frameworks and policies Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and setting the agenda independently Experience with GRC systems – Triline/Drova advantageous The Offer 6-month contract with potential for extension or permanency Collaborative and flexible work environment (50/50 hybrid) Convenient location with parking and train access Please click apply or reach out to Jamie on with any questions.
