The Role This role is central to maintaining a high-performing and engaged workforce. Reporting to the Senior Leadership Team, you’ll be responsible for full-spectrum HR management—recruitment, onboarding, performance, accommodation, compliance, and workers’ compensation. You’ll also partner with external consultants for complex IR matters and lead initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end HR processes across recruitment, onboarding, contracts, and reviews Liaise with HR consultants for IR/ER compliance and support Oversee workers’ compensation, injury management, and return-to-work coordination Maintain HR systems, training records, and employee documentation Manage housing for seasonal and permanent staff (approx. 30 housings) Forecast workforce needs and support employer branding and social media initiatives Champion employee engagement, training opportunities, and leadership development About You You’re a HR professional with a practical, down-to-earth approach and the confidence to work across all levels of a dynamic, regionally based business. You thrive on variety and autonomy and are excited by the opportunity to manage broad HR responsibilities in a hands-on setting.
