In this role, you’ll ensure the accuracy and compliance of AML/CTF outputs, review AML analyst work, provide feedback and drive continuous improvement. Acting as a key link between Line 1 and Line 2 stakeholders, you’ll help maintain TMBL’s AML/CTF standards and uplift operational effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Conduct quality assurance reviews across AML/CTF outputs, including CDD, ECDD, PEP, TM alerts, and SMRs. Provide structured feedback and coaching to uplift team capability and reinforce quality standards. Maintain QA trackers and dashboards, identify recurring issues, and recommend process improvements. Collaborate with the AML Operations Manager to refine QA methodologies and escalation protocols. Identify knowledge gaps, create and maintain training materials and support targeted training sessions and refreshers. Partner with stakeholders across Fraud, Compliance, and Risk to address procedural weaknesses. Perform QA data analysis and prepare reports highlighting trends and recommendations. Contribute to the uplift of AML/CTF frameworks and support enhancements to systems and controls. About You You’re detail‑oriented, analytical, and passionate about quality. You thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy problem‑solving, and have a knack for turning insights into practical actions. You’re a natural communicator who can coach others and build strong relationships across teams. Skills and Experience Solid experience in AML/CTF or Financial Crime operations, ideally in QA or a senior analyst role. Strong understanding of CDD, ECDD, PEP, TM, and SMR processes. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to deliver constructive feedback, navigate challenging conversations and manage resistance effectively. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify trends and systemic issues. Intermediate Excel and data analysis skills. Sound knowledge of AUSTRAC, AML/CTF Act, and governance frameworks. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple QA tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Experience supporting training and performance uplift initiatives.
