We are now seeking a Specialist Accountant to join our Finance-Controllership team. This is a permanent position within the Finance team based in the Perth Regional Office. Accountable to the Director Regional Controllership, you will be an active and integral member of the Finance team, providing a comprehensive range of financial accounting services to the Australian region. The duties will be centred on the preparation of the region's monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes. About the role The main accountabilities will include: Period‑end reporting, including use of SAP, HFM and TM1, and quarterly deliverables to corporate head office Assisting with regional SOX requirements Assisting with auditor requirements IFRS16 Leases JV accounting and reporting HY and FY financial statements Assist with regional taxation workings and returns About you People are at the heart of everything we do. To be considered, you should have: Degree qualified in accounting / commerce Completed or close to completion of CA / CPA studies Relevant experience an advantage SAP experience an advantage Full permanent working rights in Australia (Mandatory) You need to be a good team member, have good interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work under tight time pressure.
