Are you a driven Sales Manager with exceptional leadership skills and a proven track record in building high-performing sales teams? Hosepower is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to lead our Sales and Business Development team in delivering outstanding results across the market. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in maximising brand value, driving revenue growth, and ensuring our customers receive unparalleled service. About the Role Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee both internal and external sales operations, ensuring strategic alignment, consistent performance and market growth. You will guide a diverse team, build strong customer relationships, identify new opportunities, and contribute to the ongoing success of Hosepower as a preferred supplier of hydraulic and industrial hose, fittings, bearings and seals. Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership & Strategy Maximise brand value by implementing effective sales directives and market strategies. Identify new opportunities within the hydraulic and industrial hose, fittings, bearings and seals industry. Manage new business acquisition, customer retention and a varied account portfolio. Conduct regular customer visits and ensure pricing structures remain competitive. Team Management Lead, mentor and develop the Internal Sales, External Sales and Business Development teams. Hold weekly sales meetings focused on performance, pipeline, and upcoming opportunities. Oversee quotes, sales orders and invoicing accuracy across the team. Support goal‑setting and KPI development to drive growth and profitability. Work closely with the Service Manager on quoting projects ensuring customer satisfaction by providing progress and cost reports. Customer Service & Business Support Promote and model exceptional customer service—"if we don’t stock it, we will find it" and "hoses while you wait." Assist with project quoting in collaboration with the Service Manager to ensure top‑tier customer satisfaction. Prepare monthly reports including sales performance, pipeline and growth areas. Systems, Reporting & Safety Establish and maintain an effective CRM for quotes, tenders, pipeline and customer feedback. Stay informed on product lines and supplier offerings. Contribute to marketing and promotional activity planning. Maintain high standards of Workplace Health & Safety compliance. About You To succeed in this role, you will bring: Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar leadership role. Demonstrated success managing and motivating sales teams. Strong background in business development and strategic growth. High‑level understanding of hydraulic components, hoses, fittings, bearings and seals (advantageous). Outstanding communication, presentation and relationship‑building skills. Excellent planning, organisation and problem‑solving ability. Strong customer service ethos and a proactive, self‑motivated approach. Competency with Microsoft Office and ability to navigate CRM and digital tools. Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments to achieve shared business goals.
