Job Overview Do you love cleaning and take pride in a job well done? If you are interested and would like to use your passion for cleaning in the service of the community, making new friends along the way, this is the position for you This role involves cleaning a double story café-type venue to ensure it feels like home, including mopping floors, dusting, wiping surfaces, watering the living wall, oven and equipment maintenance, windows, tidying, and restocking stock such as toiletries. You will need strong attention to detail, pride in your work, and a desire to work alongside other community members volunteering. Each shift cleans up after the lunch or dinner service, so it is not all left to the one-day cleaning team; however, as we are volunteers, every hand helps. There is no customer-focused interaction as the cleaning occurs when we are closed. Job Details Category: Community Services Commitment: Regular – more than 6 months Type Of Work: Food Preparation & Service Time Required: 10:00 AM until 2:30 PM – One day per week (4.5 hours).
