With a clear focus on building market leading presence in the care economy, the Supply Chain Coordinator role offers an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and customer service driven individual. Role Overview The Supply Chain Coordinator (SCC) is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the organisation’s supply chain. This role involves coordinating with suppliers and internal teams (procurement, sales and finance) to ensure the timely and cost-effective movement of goods. The coordinator is a problem solver, proactively identifying and addressing issues to maintain a seamless flow of products and exceed customer expectations. Key Responsibilities Logistics and Shipping Coordination Plan, coordinate and monitor all inbound and outbound shipments. Manage relationships with freight carriers, suppliers and other logistics providers. Track and trace shipments to ensure delivery on time. Prepare and process supporting shipping documents. Inventory Management Maintain optimum inventory levels and forecasts to prevent stock shortages or overages. Manage and update inventory database. Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts. Coordinate with warehouse and distribution teams to optimize storage and stock management. Supplier and Partner Relationship Management Create and process purchase orders and bookings for logistics services. Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, delivery dates and resolve discrepancies. Evaluate suppliers’ performance and ensure adherence to contractual arrangements. Communicate regularly with suppliers regarding order fulfilment, quality and adherence to delivery schedules. Conduct site visits to supervise supply chain operations. Data Analysis and Reporting Generate and present reports on key performance indicators (KPIs). Analyse supply chain data and trends to identify areas of improvement. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align promotional strategies with supply chain capabilities and generate insights from customer data. Problem Solving and Communication Be the primary point of contact for supply chain-related issues. Work closely with the Client Support team to troubleshoot and resolve any production, packing, and delivery issues efficiently. Proactively identify and resolve problems such as shipping delays, product damage or supplier issues. Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to enhance supplier performance and operational efficiency. Maintain clear and consistent communication with all internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications and Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or a related field would be preferred. Experience: Established record of success in supply chain or logistics is required. Technical skills: Proficiency with supply chain management software. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis. Current Australian driver’s license and your own insured reliable vehicle. This is considered a ‘risk assessed’ role and requires NDIS Worker Screening Checks (NDISWSC). Experience working with frozen/chilled supply chain. Experience working in the ready-to-eat or home delivery sector. Personal Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proactive, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks. A customer service-oriented mindset. Working Conditions The role is typically based in either of two offices located in Surry Hills and Five Dock. Some travel will be required to visit warehouses, suppliers or distribution centres.
