About the Role As an Entry-Level Underground Miner, you will gain hands-on experience in: Operating large mining equipment, including trucks, loaders, and integrated tool carriers (ITs) Installing and maintaining critical infrastructure that supports underground operations Working alongside drills and other heavy machinery Operating safely in dynamic environments, including working at heights Supporting mining operations Roster is 7 days on, 7 days off, 7 nights on, 7 nights off, rotating 12-hour shifts at Roxby Downs Important considerations: Some roles involve physically demanding tasks, including lifting, pushing, and pulling What We're Looking For Minimum 2+ years' work experience in any industry Valid driver's license and ability to operate a manual vehicle prior to joining BHP Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Team player with a safety-first mindset Ability to adapt to shift work and time away from home Experience in civil construction, agriculture, meat processing, industrial, warehousing, disability support, aged care, or health services is highly regarded but not essential What’s in it for You?
