The Company Leading global hedge fund and private equity administrator that provides outsourced fund administration, regulatory and tax reporting for alternative funds. The Role Reporting to a Senior Tax Accountant you will be responsible for assisting with client deliverables, transitions and project deliverables impacting the Tax Services team. This role will see you continuing to learn, grow and develop as you take on more tasks and become an integral go-to person with the client portfolio. You will be primarily involved in the preparation of tax compliance calculations for fund administrations as well as being involved in the testing of processes and templates, update of standard operating procedures, client transitions and projects. Key responsibilities include Accurate and timely delivery of tax reporting deliverables. Preparation of tax compliance calculations, including but not limited to distribution calculations, AIIR, income tax returns, investor statements and BAS returns etc. Attending tax training internally and externally when required. Assist to draft tax policies and procedures for tax risk control. Liaison with internal teams (e.g. Fund Accounting, Investment Relationship and FATAC team etc) to complete a tax task. Adherence to operational compliance and risk policies. Assist in the completion of projects, including testing of tax templates. Skills and Requirements Degree qualified in Business, Accounting or related discipline with 1–3 year's experience gained in a tax / audit role in either corporate tax or a fund administrator. Has either completed or has intention to complete CA / CPA in the future. "Can do" and "keen to learn" attitudes, encouragement to ask for help when needed. Demonstrated history of being results-focused, excellent attention to detail and teamwork, either from university or through limited work experience. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work in a changing, fast-paced work environment. You will be joining a fast-growing team with great learning opportunities.
