About the role Providing expert clinical advice, knowledge and leadership to deliver exceptional Orthotics and Prosthetics models of care to healthcare consumers. Providing day-to-day operational management, strategic direction and planning, and professional leadership for RBWH Orthotics and Prosthetics clinical, research and education activities and services. Building and leading a cohesive, competent, consumer‑centred, highly motivated Orthotics and Prosthetics team, striving for continuous quality improvement and development of staff to sustain a high level of performance. Driving innovation around improving patient access, experience and health outcomes through interprofessional service delivery model enhancements. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values : As a recognised clinical leader, provide expert level Orthotics and Prosthetics clinical and consultancy services, utilising advanced level clinical judgement informed by evidence‑based practice, in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards. Resolve complex Orthotics and Prosthetics clinical service or workflow problems in the development and implementation of safe, effective and efficient service delivery models through recognised expertise and high‑level interpretation of existing health service systems, Orthotics and Prosthetics professional standards and other relevant considerations. Apply expert level clinical skills and knowledge to develop and implement strategies to optimise the capability of the Orthotics and Prosthetics workforce.
