Then you might be just who we were looking for What You’ll Be Doing: Watering, weeding, planting, and pruning in our garden areas Mowing lawns and tidying up outdoor animal spaces Light repairs or general maintenance Sweeping paths, trimming hedges, clearing leaves you name it Helping spot and report any safety hazards or broken bits You’ll Be Great For This If You: Enjoy working outdoors in all kinds of weather (with breaks, of course) Like practical, hands‑on tasks and seeing instant results Are handy with tools or happy to learn Are reliable, proactive, and safety‑aware Can lift or carry moderate weight and don’t mind a little dirt under your nails Perks of the Role: Get fresh air, sunshine, and a sense of accomplishment Make our shelter a beautiful, safe space for animals, visitors, and staff Learn new gardening or maintenance skills (or show off the ones you’ve got) Flexible scheduling to fit around your life Job Details: Category: Animal Welfare Commitment: Regular - more than 6 months Type Of Work: Garden Maintenance, Sport & Physical Activity, Trades & Maintenance Time Required: Shifts are 9am to 12pm or 1pm to 4pm, 7 days per week but this role is flexible.
