Milieu Early Education and Care – Condell Park NSW Service 2IC & Room Leader – Preschool Room We are seeking a confident and experienced Service Second-in-Charge (2IC) who will also lead our Preschool Room. This dual role is perfect for an educator ready to strengthen their leadership skills while contributing to the overall operation of the service. About the Role As the Service 2IC, you will support the Centre Director with daily service operations, compliance, staff support, and family partnerships. As the Preschool Room Leader, you will guide the educational program for children aged 3–5 and mentor the room team to deliver high‑quality learning experiences. Service 2IC Duties Support the Centre Director in daily service management Assist with rostering, documentation checks, compliance and communication Act as the Responsible Person when required Build strong relationships with families and support overall service culture Preschool Room Leader Duties Lead the Preschool program with a strong understanding of school readiness Plan, implement and evaluate a high‑quality curriculum aligned with the EYLF and NQS Mentor, guide and support educators within the room Maintain learning documentation, observations and assessments Ensure a safe, inclusive, engaging environment for all children About You Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved) OR ECT Previous experience in a leadership role (Room Leader, Educational Leader or 2IC desirable) Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS and ACECQA requirements Confident communicator with strong leadership and organisational skills Ability to build positive relationships with children, families and educators Current Working with Children Check + required First Aid certificates What We Offer Supportive leadership team with ongoing mentorship Professional development and training opportunities Well‑resourced Preschool Room and supportive environment Opportunities for career progression within the service How to Apply If you’re ready to take on a rewarding leadership role with real impact, we’d love to hear from you Please send your resume and cover letter to *****@milieueec.com.au #J-18808-Ljbffr
