Carpenter & Apprentice Carpenter

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter and Apprentices to join our team, working across a variety of residential construction and renovation projects throughout the Northern Rivers region. The role involves hands‑on work in all aspects of carpentry, including framing, cladding, fixout, decking, extensions and renovations . You’ll be part of a professional team delivering quality workmanship and well‑finished projects. Key Responsibilities Carry out all aspects of carpentry from frame to finish Read and interpret building plans and specifications Work efficiently and safely on site as part of a small, skilled team Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to maintain workflow Deliver a high standard of finish and attention to detail Skills & Experience Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent trade qualification) Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential construction Competent in framing, cladding, fixout and decking Ability to work independently and problem‑solve on site Good communication and teamwork skills Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle White Card and insurances required for subcontractors Tools & Equipment Required Power saws (drop saw, circular saw, plunge saw) Nail guns (framing and finishing) Impact driver and drill set Levels, squares, measuring tape and chalk line Planer, jigsaw, oscillating multi‑tool Extension leads and power boards (tested and tagged) Hand tools (hammers, chisels, clamps, screwdrivers, etc.) Tool belts and storage boxes Ladders or step platforms PPE (steel‑cap boots, hi‑vis, eye/hearing protection, hard hat, gloves) What We Offer Consistent work on local residential and renovation projects Supportive and professional team environment Competitive rates based on skills and experience Potential for ongoing or full‑time opportunities for the right person Apprentice Carpenter – Join Our Team We’re looking for a motivated apprentice carpenter to join our team and learn all aspects of residential construction — from framing and cladding to fixout and decking .
