The Lead Test Analyst is responsible for analysing data and quality assurance activities to ensure enterprise solutions for NSW Health are ready for Production deployment for the State Operational Data Store (ODS) Program Team within the Ministry of Health. This includes evaluation and improving the testing process to ensure enterprise solutions, commissioned by NSW Health, are ready for Production Deployment. The Lead Test Analyst will be responsible for managing testing from strategy through to execution, including evaluating and improving the testing process to ensure NSW Health’s enterprise solutions are ready for production deployment. The Lead Test Analyst will be responsible for reviewing business requirements, functional design specifications, developing and executing test cases, writing SQL to interrogate large and complex datasets where test case automation will be an advantage. Health Manager level 4, starting salary from $147,653 - $175,917 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 38 hour work week. What you will do Design, develop, lead, and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases based on established application requirements, including but not limited to integration, functional, data pipeline, backend, performance, and device testing. Managing testing resources by assigning tasks, setting priorities, monitoring progress and escalating risk or issues to relevant personnel whilst developing, maintaining, complying, enforcing and monitoring quality assurance governance and framework. Document issues, defects and inconsistencies in a ticketing system and ensure they are appropriately resolved in a timely manner. Develop, maintain, execute, and ensure compliance of test automation process/framework as well as ensuring sustainability of this framework. Report any risks or issues that could impact the timely delivery or quality of developed solutions to the Quality Assurance and Data Analytics Manager. About you We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with the following knowledge and experience: Experience (> 5 years) collecting, interpreting, analysing clinical and/or corporate data in order to identify potential issues, inconsistencies and report results. Experience (> 5 years) with writing SQL to develop test cases. Experience (> 3 years) testing complex operational systems which consume large amounts of clinical and/or corporate data. Experience (> 3 years) working within a large, complex organisation with numerous stakeholders to engage ranging from data analysts, developers, business analysts, testers, clinicians and Executives. Experience (> 2 years) with test automation implementation or use. Your ability to work collaboratively, think critically, and maintain a strong focus on quality will ensure NSW Health’s enterprise solutions are production-ready and meet the highest standards.
