About the Role We are seeking an experienced NDIS Intake & Service Navigation Lead to manage participant onboarding, referrals, scheduling, and service coordination. Reporting to our Head of Clinical Operations & Governance, you will act as the central hub for operational workflow, ensuring participants are matched with the right clinicians efficiently and compliantly. This is a crucial role with responsibility over intake and admin functions, offering the opportunity to shape participant experience and streamline processes. Responsibilities Manage all referrals, intake, and onboarding for NDIS participants. Interpret NDIS plans, ensuring compliance with funding, reporting, and safeguarding requirements. Oversee scheduling and clinician allocation to optimise capacity and reduce travel inefficiencies. Monitor waitlists, cancellations, and service disruptions. Communicate clearly with participants, families, and referrers. Identify high-risk referrals and escape appropriately. Collaborate with clinicians and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and data accuracy. About You Minimum 3+ years NDIS experience (allied health, support coordination, plan management, or similar). Strong practical knowledge of NDIS pricing, plans, compliance, and participant safeguarding. Proven intake, triage, or service coordination experience. Excellent communication — calm, clear, and empathetic. Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise competing demands. Experience with CRM/scheduling systems (e.g., Splose, Cliniko, Lumary, Notion, Shiftcare, Monday.com). Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor junior staff in the future. Desirable Allied health experience. Knowledge of restrictive practices processes and reporting. Experience improving workflows and operational systems.
