Berrigan Children's Centre offers above-award remuneration for full-time and part-time Early Childhood Educators (Diploma or working towards) pro rata based on education level and experience. Early Childhood Educator This is a full-time or part-time position for a Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator or actively working towards a diploma to join the dedicated team at Berrigan Children's Centre, NSW. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality, early childhood education and care to the children enrolled at the centre. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will lead & assist the delivery of the educational program supporting the learning and development of up to 38 children at the centre. You'll also collaborate with educators to help ensure consistency and continuity across the service. About the Role Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that promote the learning and development of children aged 0-12 years Observing and assessing children's progress, and using this information to tailor learning experiences Building positive relationships with children, families and the broader community Ensuring a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment Collaborating with other educators to share knowledge and best practices Maintaining accurate records and documentation Adhering to all relevant early childhood education regulations and centre policies Coaching, mentoring, and supporting our team of amazing educators Full time Permanent Position available, negotiable What we're looking for A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent) OR be actively working towards an approved Diploma qualification Current NSW Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain) First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training (or willingness to obtain) A deep understanding of the EYLF, NQS and child development Strong communication and early education knowledge A warm, collaborative and passionate educator Proven experience in an early education space Why join our team?
