About the position As theCity’s Urban Forest Officer, you will drive theimplementation and review of the City’s Urban Forest Strategyand related greening programs, provide expert advice on integratingcanopy and biodiversity outcomes into planning and design processesand build partnerships with agencies, research institutions, andcommunity groups to advance urbangreening. About the person You willhave a tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, UrbanForestry, Planning or a related field, along with experience inurban forest, biodiversity or environmental planning, ideally in astrategic or project coordination role. Strong skills in GIS andLiDAR analysis for canopy mapping and spatial reporting would also be an advantage.
