About the role
Due to a sharp increase in new high-end Print Production products, we are looking to fill a Business Machine Mechanic position to join our NSW Print Production team, providing outstanding service and support to our valuable customer base.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and support of Colour and B&W print equipment and ancillary products with associated software & services solutions.
As a member of the NSW Service Team, you will ensure customer satisfaction through on-site Corrective and Preventative maintenance on customer equipment. This role works within a dedicated team who report directly to the Service Delivery Manager.
Ideal Candidate
To be qualified for this position, ideally, your background and skills will comprise of the following:
Your strong technical aptitude, troubleshooting skills and professional approach, as well as a positive attitude in dealing with customers, are essential attributes for this role. A keen desire to learn and apply new skills will be encouraged in the Konica Minolta environment that fosters continuous employee development. Applicants must possess a strong mechanical/electrical aptitude, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A proven track record of excellent customer service, ensuring to go above and beyond. Ability to work autonomously, whilst keeping in contact with your team to ensure workload is consistent and transparent. Essential requirements for this role:
Demonstrated experience in a similar role and/or network, IT and technical knowledge/understanding. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organisation and time management skills. Driver's License and Working with Children Check. Current Australian working rights are essential. As per Konica Minolta compliance procedures, the successful candidate will be required to undertake background checks.
