This is a pivotal leadership role for an Industrial Relations expert seeking influence and scale. Working directly with executive leadership, the position oversees industrial strategy, complex negotiations, and the direction of a specialist ER team. We are seeking an accomplished Employee Relations executive with deep technical expertise, strong commercial judgement, and the credibility to influence outcomes at executive and board‑adjacent levels. Key Responsibilities Set the strategic direction for employment relations across a complex, multi‑stakeholder organisation; Lead high‑impact enterprise agreement negotiations and resolve complex industrial matters; Serve as a trusted, executive‑level advisor on employment risk, workforce strategy, and industrial outcomes; Ensure the organisation operates with rigour and confidence across all employment legislation and industrial frameworks; Build and maintain effective relationships with unions, regulators, and external legal partners; and Inspire, lead, and develop a specialist Industrial Relations team to deliver best‑practice outcomes. Key Requirements Proven senior leadership experience in Employment Relations / Industrial Relations; Strong command of Australian industrial and employment legislation; Demonstrated success in EA negotiations and union engagement; Executive‑level stakeholder management and advisory capability; and Strategic, calm, and decisive leadership style.
