Montessori Academy, Australia’s largest Montessori childcare provider, is looking for a Marketing & Events Coordinator to support our brand growth and engagement through strategic marketing initiatives and well-executed events. In this role, you’ll play a key part in increasing brand awareness through marketing coordination and event management. What You’ll Be Doing Marketing Strategy Coordination: Work with the Marketing Team to provide input and ideas to develop, implement, and manage 360‑degree marketing and communication strategies across more than 50 childcare services. Event Planning & Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and execute events, including expos, grand openings, conferences, webinars, galas, and team events across NSW, VIC, and ACT. Content Creation & Graphic Design: Create compelling content for newsletters, blogs, and print marketing materials using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite. Website Management: Update the company website using WordPress CMS. Photoshoot Coordination: Liaise with photographers and videographers to manage successful facilities and brand content shoots. Centre Support & Travel: Travel to centre locations as needed to support marketing activities. Email Marketing: Assist in the development and execution of email marketing campaigns, refining the customer journey for Montessori Academy families. Survey Design & Data Analysis: Design surveys, analyse data, and draw insights to improve marketing strategies and customer experience. Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights for improvement. Cross‑Department Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to align marketing strategies and leverage content for maximum impact. Competitor & Industry Research: Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and refine marketing strategies. Budget & Campaign Management: Assist in managing the marketing budget, tracking expenses for campaigns, events, advertising, and initiatives. Build and maintain relationships with a wide range of community stakeholders, including politicians, church representatives, and local organisations, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across diverse groups. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. 1+ years proven experience in a similar role. Fun and energetic with excellent communication skills. Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box. High level attention to detail. Proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems. Highly organised with excellent project management skills. Experience in survey design, data collection, and analysis. Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Visual Design or Business. Familiarity with early childhood education principles and practices is a plus. Proven experience in engaging and fostering relationships with diverse community stakeholders, including politicians, church leaders, and representatives from community organisations.
