The Opportunity We are looking to grow our Surgical Team through the addition of a new board registered Specialist Surgeon. Our Surgical Team primarily see referred and committed clients along with patients transferred through the in-house Emergency service. Peninsula Vet Emergency & Referral Hospital offer a full range of disciplines including Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Oncology and Diagnostic Imaging. The hospital is fully equipped including CT, ultrasound, endoscopy, laser and fluoroscopy. You will have access to a varied and diverse caseload, from minimally invasive techniques through to advanced soft tissue, neurologic and orthopaedic surgery. We are passionate about supporting the next generation of veterinary professionals through our Internship program and extra-mural program partnership with the University of Melbourne Veterinary School. Our Surgical Interns support the Department through inpatient management, client communication and procedural support.
