Childcare Traineeship

Young Academics Early Learning Centre is a leading and reputable provider with more than 50 centres across New South Wales. We are currently seeking a Trainee to join our vibrant Dapto Service. This exciting opportunity allows you to earn while you learn, as you work towards your Children’s Services qualification. Gain hands‑on experience, develop practical skills, and build a rewarding career in early childhood education and care. This position is a full-time, 12‑month fixed-term contract with off-the-floor time to complete your studies. Responsibilities Work alongside the team to provide high-quality education and care. Develop and deliver an inclusive and innovative program. Apply approved learning frameworks (EYLF) that promote each child's identity, connection to community, wellbeing, learning confidence, and communication skills. Maintain a safe environment, proactively managing risks and adhering to health and hygiene protocols. Lead by example in all interactions, fostering a respectful and collaborative team culture. Partner with families to support their children’s development and education goals. Build & maintain clear and accurate communication within the team, children and families, and nurture professional, supportive and respectful relationships. About You Valid full working rights in Australia Full-time availability required between 6:00 am and 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday. A demonstrated interest in Early Childhood Education and Care Currently enrolled in or interested in completing a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care with our preferred training provider.
