Registered Senior Architect (5+ Years) – Infrastructure (Sport, Rail, & Commercial) We are looking to expand our Infrastructure team of talented and dedicated people to collaborate on projects throughout Australia and New Zealand. We are seeking experienced Senior Architects to join our Brisbane Studio in a full time, permanent capacity, supporting our Infrastructure sector in Sport, Rail and Commercial projects. Skills & Experience Senior Architects work under the direction of the Infrastructure Associate Director and Director, requiring close working relationships with their project team at MODE to deliver high quality design, documentation and construction outcomes. They will lead their team in a highly effective manner which includes mentoring and overseeing Architects and junior staff as appropriate to meet deadlines and project requirements. Profile and Responsibilities Successful candidates will have Design Qualifications and Industry Knowledge: A qualification recognized in Australia in Architecture. Candidate should be results-driven, team-focused and have a thorough legislative & construction code understanding. 5+ years Professional Experience: With over five years of professional experience as an Australian Registered Architect, the candidate will demonstrate strong design ability, excellent communication, leadership and problem solving. Sector-Specific Experience: Demonstrated project specific experience in at least one of the following disciplines; Sports, Rail & Infrastructure or Commercial. Stakeholder Communication and Project Management: Proven stakeholder communication and project management skills, including oversight of profitability, fee proposals, QA processes, and effective coordination with sub-consultants while supporting Sector Leads and mentoring Junior team members. Business Development Experience: Demonstrated business development experience through sourcing new opportunities, preparing fee proposals, and contributing to Sector and Studio growth. BIM and Project Design Capability: Strong project design capability, including being proficient at and having an advanced understanding of Revit documentation skills required throughout the project lifecycle from design to delivery.
