Medical Receptionist

Medical Receptionist role at Lumus Imaging Location: Tweed Heads South • Work type: Full Time (Permanent) Overview Our Medical Imaging team based in Tweed Heads South are looking for a Full Time Medical Receptionist (38hrs per week) to join them in providing the best service and care to our patients. You will be the first point of contact, providing high standard of patient care and support both in person and via phone/computer. Responsibilities Deliver high quality patient care when performing all clerical duties. General clerical duties, including taking incoming phone calls, responding to email enquiries, and accurate data entry. Provide exceptional customer service and care, including greeting patients at the front desk, actioning electronic/faxed referrals, and online enquiries and bookings. Multitask with high attention to detail. Schedule radiology exam appointments (XR, Ultrasound, CT, Mammogram, MRI and interventional procedures). Patient record management in line with privacy and confidentiality policies. Liaising with other receptionists, radiographers, sonographers, radiologists, referring doctors and other medical professionals in a professional and courteous manner. Medicare, DVA and Work Cover billing and banking. Qualifications Has previous Medical Reception and customer/patient care experience. Experience in Radiology desirable. Has exceptional customer service and strong communication skills. Is proactive, cooperative and performs well in a fast paced environment. Has an interest and desire to learn and improve.
