Calling All Passionate Youth Workers - Make a Lasting Impact in the Gold Coast Are you ready for a job that truly changes lives ?Are you looking for meaningful, rewarding work where you can: Make a real difference in someone's life Help shape the future of young people in your local community Have a great work life balance Residential Youth Workers and Senior Youth workers We're on the lookout for compassionate, committed Youth Workers to support young people who are experiencing vulnerability and need someone to walk alongside them through life's challenges.In this permanent, full-time role , you'll work directly with young people in a 24-hour care residential setting, helping them build resilience, independence, and a strong sense of belonging.You'll work an average of 5 x 24-hour shifts per fortnight on a rotating roster - giving you meaningful time off while still making a deep impact.Travel within the Gold Coast region is required - a work vehicle is provided while on shift.Who We're Looking For You're a resilient, heart-led professional who brings: A Certificate IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention (or equivalent) A current Blue Card A full Australian Driver's Licence Full working rights in Australia A strong ability to build trust with diverse young people Flexibility to work 5 x 24-hour shifts per fortnight Emotional strength and resilience in high-pressure environments A genuine passion for mentoring and teaching life skills What You'll Do Be a stable, supportive presence in the lives of young people Help develop their life skills, confidence, and independence Work through tough times together, providing emotional and practical support Advocate for their needs and wellbeing as part of a wider care team Collaborate with Case Managers and community services to support long-term outcomes Why You'll Love Working with this organisation Paid 3-week induction - get the tools and training you need to succeed 6 weeks of annual leave - because you deserve balance Annual bonus - up to $5,000 based on your years of service Salary packaging - make the most of your take-home pay Above-award guaranteed weekly income - enjoy financial stability Career development - ongoing training and internal promotion opportunities Your Training Journey You'll begin with a comprehensive 3-week induction program (classroom, online and on-the-job training), preparing you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to succeed.Note : Offers start on a casual basis during induction, with permanent roles offered once you complete the induction program.This isn't just a job.
