About the facility Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong's CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac. About the role This role is a casual contract where you would support the Women's Services by providing cover at short notice either during the day or out of hours. Vacancies will be advertised and you will be able to pick up sessions based on your availability. A period of 2 days onboarding is essential, as is completion of mandatory training requirements. In this role you will provide general obstetrics and gynaecology services to the hospital and provide support to the Director of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Basic medical degree, registrable with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency (AHPRA) Fellowship of the Royal Australasian New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) Specialist qualifications in Obstetrics and Gynaecology recognised through the National Specialist Qualifications Advisory Committee Current Working with Children Check Ability to work collaboratively with senior medical and midwifery staff Please note Barwon Health will only contact you via our official email and never use unconventional means, such as text messaging or other services.
