Overview ECC Veterinary Nurse - AEC + Specialty Care Moorabbin is a brand-new, purpose-built hospital designed for emergency and critical care and specialty care, with cutting-edge facilities and equipment to support your nursing practice. Responsibilities Provide nursing care in an emergency and critical care environment Assist with patient stabilization and monitoring using advanced equipment Support the dedicated Critical Care Unit and specialty services Collaborate with the veterinary team to deliver high standards of patient and family care Requirements Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent (students close to completion considered) Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure Passion for providing exceptional care to animals and their families Availability to work across a rotating roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays What we offer Full-time and part-time opportunities available Competitive salary with penalty rates – annual earnings can exceed $80,000 p.a. depending on roster Professional growth & development: Tailored training, shadow shifts, and structured orientation Annual Symposium (flights & accommodation included) with 2 days of clinical lectures CE funding opportunities, including ECC diploma support RECOVER training for BLS & ALS certification Flexible rostering – no on-call shifts, 9–12 hr shifts (mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends, public holidays) Generous staff discounts across the Greencross family (AEC, Greencross GP clinics, Petbarn) + Royal Canin A well-stocked pantry Animal attendants to support the smooth running of the hospital so you can focus on nursing #AEC #J-18808-Ljbffr
