Role Description: The Cyber Security OT Lead is a new opportunity in our Cyber team based at our Perth Central Park office. The Operational Technology Security Lead is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the security practices for Synergy’s operational technology environments. This role ensures the reliability, security, and compliance of OT systems supporting the Synergy Generation fleet and leads the uplift of OT security maturity in alignment with the Australian Energy Sector Cyber Security Framework (AESCSF). Job responsibilities: Lead a team of Cyber Security operational technology specialists, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management. Develop and maintain the OT security strategy, policies, and governance frameworks. Ensure alignment with AESCSF requirements and industry best practices. Implement and enforce Cyber Security protocols to protect operational technology systems from cyber threats. Collaborate with solution architects to ensure security is embedded in all OT system designs. What you will bring: A current Australian Drivers Licence Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing or operational technology security specialist role. Strong knowledge of Networks, Wintel and Storage, SCADA, and other control systems. Strong understanding & experience with cybersecurity practices, concepts and technologies.
