Brand Executive (Lifestyle & FMCG Licensing) (FMCG & Lifestyle | Licensing | Product & Brand Support) Asembl is home to some of the world’s most loved and trusted consumer brands. Our clients include: Aeroplane, Baileys, Bundaberg Rum, Chupa Chups, Coca-Cola, Rip Curl, Solo, Streets, VB and Violet Crumble. We help global brands create new licensed food & non-food retail products using their famous brand assets & flavours. You may have seen Chupa Chups or Violet Crumble ice cream in your local supermarket — these are the type of licensed products we bring to life and manage. The products our licensed partners create are innovative, disruptive and engage consumers in a way traditional advertising cannot. Licensed products bring brand worlds to life, create new revenue streams and create new occasions for consumers to see, touch and consume brands. If you love building brands, come and join our global best‑class team. We encourage all applicants to carefully read the position description and ensure your experience is relatable or transferable to the FMCG segment. The Role: We are searching for a Brand Executive to support our growing category team. Reporting to a Senior Brand Manager, you will support the development and delivery of licensed FMCG & lifestyle products across a portfolio of iconic brands. You’ll be hands‑on across approvals, sensory processes, partner coordination, reporting and presentations — helping keep programs moving and ensuring they reflect our clients’ brand values and priorities. This is an ideal role for someone with ~2+ years’ experience who is highly organised, loves detail, and wants to grow in the world of brand licensing, FMCG and product development. Our Ideal Candidate: To be successful in this role you are open and candid with a love for attention to detail. Ideally you have experience with a food/FMCG or process‑driven business, or a genuine passion for product & brands. Each day will bring new and exciting opportunities to apply your knowledge and insights. We understand there may be some gaps — you will be supported by the team to help you grow and succeed. You Will Be Responsible For: Performance reporting & partner support: Prepare and analyse royalty/sales reports, maintain trackers, and support partner review preparation and follow‑ups. NPD & pipeline coordination: Maintain NPD trackers and pipelines, coordinate inputs from partners, and provide clear status updates and next steps to internal stakeholders. Client & partner coordination: Support day‑to‑day communication with key clients and licensed partners, ensuring actions are captured, timelines are met and stakeholders stay aligned. Approvals & sensory management: Coordinate approvals for licensed FMCG & lifestyle products, packaging and marketing assets — preparing clear decks and documentation for client review and feedback. Assets & partner setup: Coordinate the set‑up of partners with required flavour briefs, artwork/assets, brand guidelines and any other inputs so product development can progress smoothly. Presentations & materials: Build brand decks, client reports and internal updates, and support the preparation of opportunity assessments, recommendations and meeting materials. Process & detail excellence: Keep documentation, trackers and systems up to date (including CRM where relevant), supporting a smooth, professional and well‑governed licensing process. To Be Successful: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role (brand, marketing, licensing, category, product, or account‑focused roles). Experience in food / FMCG / lifestyle (or another process‑driven environment) is highly regarded. Super organised and detail oriented, with strong written skills and confidence writing business / brand content. A positive and professional communication style with curiosity, initiative and an ability to influence through preparation and clarity. Strong capability across Excel, PowerPoint and Word (CRM experience is a bonus). What We Can Offer You: Competitive remuneration. Our culture is inclusive, fun, and supportive — you’ll be part of a passionate team that loves what they do. A dynamic hybrid work environment, global clients, and a brand‑new office hub on Fitzroy Street, St Kilda.
