Position Instrumental Music Tutor (Violin) at our Pakenham campus to provide individual tutoring for students from preliminary through to VCE, and to support the Music teacher with delivery of the Year 2 strings program. For the right candidate, there is also the possibility of a role as Strings Coordinator. Responsibilities Provide individual violin tutoring for students from Preliminary to VCE. Support the Music teacher with delivery of the Year 2 strings program. If appointed, assume the role of Strings Coordinator as appropriate. Qualifications and Characteristics Relevant qualifications and experience as an instrumental music tutor. Demonstrated commitment to the school’s Statement of Faith. Ability to provide a godly example to students and staff through teaching practice, manner, relationships and lifestyle. Ability to offer flexible teaching methods to suit individual student needs. Experience preparing students for AMEB and VCE exams (essential). Ability to create a charismatic and engaging teaching environment for students.
