We have plastering apprenticeships available in the Forest Lake and surrounding areas of Goodna, Springfield and Doolandella for an immediate start. If the idea of working with your hands, building structures and working on construction sites appeals to you, a plastering apprenticeship ticks all the right boxes. You will get the opportunity to work side by side with professional trades people and you will learn all aspects of your training and employment. WHY HIA APPRENTICES? Be paid correctly and on time Full time opportunity Work with and be trained by industry leaders Be placed in a safe and monitored workplace Dedicated Field Officer to support you through your apprenticeship Access to a very low interest loan of $20,000 to buy tools, car, etc. Access to HIA Member benefits and services Will be provided with personal protective equipment (PPE) THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THIS ROLE: Have a great attitude towards work, self-motivated, proactive, be a team player, attention to detail and willing to learn Be committed to finishing their apprenticeship and become a fully qualified wall and ceiling plasterer Current driver’s licence and reliable transport is preferable CI Card (white Card) or be willing to obtain prior to starting You’ll receive dedicated support from HIA Apprentices in all aspects of your training and employment.
