Fixed Term, Full Time AppointmentProfessional Employee Level 10Annual salary $133,156 – $147,782 pa + 17% superannuation and 6 weeks annual leaveCasuarina Campus | Larrakia Country About the Position As the Chief Systems Architect, you will be responsible for leading the technical innovative solutions that reinvent and streamline student experiences in line with the University’s Student Digital Experience Roadmap. This position applies client-centered design principles to develop and build seamless, consistent, and functional interactions within the student-facing systems. About You To be successful, you will require: Strong ability to design complex and scalable solutions that align with business objectives and technical requirements. Knowledge of best practices in software architecture, including security, performance, and maintainability Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business stakeholders. Ability to map, maintain, and optimise data flows between systems across the student lifecycle, including integrations between core systems and CRMs, learning management systems, identity platforms, and analytics tools Proven experience producing and maintaining high-quality technical documentation, including logical and physical data models, sequence diagrams, integration contracts, and service/API specifications. Experience in creating architectural diagrams, documentation, and blueprints for proposed solutions. Demonstrable Stakeholder Translation acting as a bridge between business analysts and developers - translating business process maps and service blueprints into implementable technical designs. Commitment to the University’s values. Remuneration Appointment to this role will be at Professional Employee Level 10. The base salary will be in the range of $133,156 - $147,782 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $155,792 - $172,904 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
