Systems Engineer – Defence Capability Development OCRT is hiring a Systems Engineer with Defence capability development expertise and a diverse range of technical skills. Key Qualifications & Skills Systems engineering and requirements elicitation for complex system-of-systems environments Requirements analysis and capability gap analysis across Defence platforms Experience developing Function and Performance Specifications (FPS) Understanding of Defence capability development and the One Defence Capability System Concept design and systems architecture development for enterprise solutions Technical risk management and systems integration planning Verification and validation processes, including Preview Test & Evaluation (PT&E) Strong technical documentation skills for capability submissions and Government documentation Stakeholder engagement across Defence enterprise and Joint Force environments Tertiary qualifications in engineering or related technical field For this role, candidates must hold an active minimum NV1 Australian Government Security Clearance.
